Lloret de Mar

About 10 minutes by car there is a lively and active small city called Lloret de Mar. Even if here in Canyelles there is no noticable sign of the whirl over there once you are there you will find plenty of opportunities to live life to the fullest. Lloret de Mar offers countless shops, lots of discos, bars and pubs. Ideal for young people who want to spend their evenings in a mediterranean setting and have fun while meeting lots of other people.

4 miles north of Canyelles is the contemplative fisherman's villageTossa de Mar. Compared to Lloret, Tossa is very calm and especially qualified for a romantic dinner at or in the splendid castle. Appart from that Tossa offers a very beautyful beach and if you like window-shopping, strolling through its many small alleys is something you shouldn't miss.

Barcelona

The big metropolis lies about 55 miles from La Siesta. Barcelona is reachable by car (about 90 minutes), as well as by train (from Blanes about 4,- €). Barcelona provides everything a tourist wants. It presents itself as a cultural jewel on the one hand and as a shopping paradise on the other hand. Visiting Barcelona at least once is mandatory.
