Lloret de Mar

Ten minutes by car from La Siesta is the quieter town of Lloret de Mar. Even if you can not find in the paradisical Canyelles bay of the tourist bustle, Lloret de Mar offers everything you would expect from a modern holiday resort. Numerous shops, many restaurants, bars, discos and pubs are ideal for young and old to enjoy themselves. New in Lloret is the casino "Gran Casino Costa Brava" and the theater. On the outskirts is the huge water park "Waterworld" with many attractions such as slides, tubes, wave pool etc.

Tossa de Mar

Ten minutes in the other direction, you enter the tranquil fisherman's village of Tossa de Mar. Tossa is more peaceful, family-friendly compared to Lloret and is particularly suitable for a romantic dinner on the magnificent castle or a delicious ice cream on the beautifully designed beach promenade. Besides, Tossa offers a small but fine beach and is with its many alleyways ideal for strolling. If you like hiking, you can also reach both places by signposted hiking trails along the wild-romantic coast.
